I have met some really great people over the past month and personal stylist Sunayna from House of Nayna is one of them. House of Nayna stemmed from Sunayna's ever lasting passion to make women look and feel good about themselves.
From Sunayna.. I want to be the person that women come to when they need to learn how to dress their body type, looking for a fabulous outfit for an event, require a total wardrobe overhaul, need help to make the most of their current wardrobe, or any styling for shoots whether they be an engagement shoot, maternity shoot, or so much more!
I was so fortunate to be apart of a maternity shoot for my dear friend, Reena. Since Reena and I have been friends for more than a decade, I definitely felt the pressure to style her in a way that was comfortable, effortless, and as always with my clients, a true representation of who she is.
I collaborated with the dynamic Brazilian team of Sambajoy who I've had the pleasure of working with many times. They are fun, creative, and their images are always spectacular.
In terms of styling, I always make it a mandate with my clients to ensure they are getting their money's worth. There is a difference with spending money and wasting money. This is why I chose to go with a non-maternity dress from Aritzia for Reena. Reena's dress floated away from the body at the perfect spot. Most importantly, she will be using it again afterwards. The dress becomes an addition to her wardrobe rather than a one time use piece.
I always try to support local whenever I can. We have some great local boutiques in the city! Reena has a little bit of boho-chic in her, so I knew I wanted to put her into a great chain headpiece. Local boutique Silver Lotus on Osborne had an array of them and each one was beautiful.
Thank you Sunayna!
