We all love a good party and this colourful and unique baby welcoming honouring sweet Enzo does not disappoint. This perfect day planned and executed by Vendor Guide member Emily from Feast & Festivities and captured by Gabrielle Touchette Photography is absolutely darling.

The colours, textures, details and backdrop brought together seamlessly tells me that this is only a snippet of the beautiful events we will be seeing from Feast & Festivities. Not only is Emily the planner- but also Enzo's mom!

From the planner and momma herself - Despite starting to plan my son's welcoming before he was born, I was unable to grasp a theme for the celebration without yet knowing his character. Once Enzo joined us I quickly came to see him as a bright, active boy with a love for all kinds of activity. I knew the celebration needed to have lots of colour, and fun activities for all. With mine and my husband's love of fast cars and racing, and surely a future interest of our son too, a luxury auto and art gallery was the perfect place to hold it.

We invited family and friends of all ages and genders to stop by and meet our newest member of the community one sunny Sunday afternoon. A bright palette — orange, baby blue, teal, yellow, and red — with hints of copper carried through the décor. Balloons, paper chain garland, napkins with baby hand prints, and fun A-Z letter blocks curated and styled by myself added youthfulness, while the florals, designed by Stone House Creative, added a more formal whimsy.

Furniture was used to create several areas to mingle, including a lounge with a bookshelf for guests to place their favourite childhood book to share with Enzo. Guests were also invited to write some life advice on fabric that I would later sew into a blankie, as well as colour a page for a one-of-a-kind A-Z letter book. And, after all the eating, mingling, colouring, and writing, the showroom full of luxury vehicles and art was open for exploring.

Guests nibbled on home-cooked bites; indulged in cake and bright pumpkin spice, bubblegum, and strawberry donuts from Laugh Love Cakes; and sipped fresh-made sparkling ginger apple cider. The cider was such a hit I had to share the recipe!

Our little honourable guest donned a DIY miniature yellow crown and was welcomed into the community through a sweet ceremony perfectly communicating our hopes and wishes for Enzo performed by Marry Me Hunnie with mom and dad by his side.

Pretty Mama's with little ones on the way, consider a welcoming for them for all to meet! It's a totally fun and sweet alternative to the traditional baby shower and whole families can join in the fun. Just leave it to Feast & Festivities to start planning your first celebration together as a family while you navigate your new life and try to catch up on sleep. - Emily
