About a year ago I asked my oldest daughter, then 7 years old, what she wanted to be when she grew up and she outlined the following so clearly she must have thought about it a hundred times. She wants to take a business and graphic design course in college (a path I so wish I had realized for myself- though being self taught has its advantages!) Following college she wants to open her own online business (specifically a website like Host Winnipeg 😭) and have a home office, a husband and kids of her own. She also wants to be a painter- one of my favourite pastimes. It was one of the most special and proudest moments of my life and one I will never ever forget. Regardless of where she ends up I know that she will be a force and I can hardly wait to watch it all unfold 💖 happy #internationalwomensday to all the fierce trailblazers and business owners, those working hard behind the scenes, those staying home to raise their children, those serving their community, those saving lives and caring for the ill and all of the incredible, beautiful and hard working and talented women in between✨🙌🏻🥂
